I'd also agree with that. She seems bipolar on the trail. When things are going well, she starts to smile more. When she's losing, she turns into psycho Hill.

Joe Klein talked about how much personality she has and how she's afraid to let it out because this is what's expected of her. It was an interesting take on what I've never seen of her, but I can definitely imagine the tremendous pressure to be this "professional" woman who can be part of the boys club.

That said, I still support Obama more than I would her.

    Intriguing graf:

Rather than punish Solis Doyle or raise questions about her fitness to lead, Clinton chose her to manage the presidential campaign for reasons that should now be obvious: above all, Clinton prizes loyalty and discipline, and Solis Doyle demonstrated both traits, if little else. This suggests to me that for all the emphasis Clinton has placed on executive leadership in this campaign, her own approach is a lot closer to the current president’s than her supporters might like to admit.

Fred Thompson was someone who clearly was half-assing it, like he was only running because someone said it would be a neat idea.

Hillary has the air of someone who was all set and strategizing for the fall and a very beatable GOP opponent, but then found herself facing a buzzsaw. She saw the nomination as her birthright, her "TURN!" and she looks shocked that it's a race. New Hampshire was the turning point, as she won and exhaled: "WHEW! OK, that upstart can have Iowa! Here I come, White House!"

Meanwhile, he was firing up the troops with an absolutely riveting speech, and hasn't looked back since. She wants to be president; she's just weary already from a fight she didn't expect.

I don't think anyone wants to be president more than Hillary Clinton. But I don't think she enjoys campaigning all that much.

Hey, CNN's John King, what surprises you most about the democratic race? Stalemate, he says. Usually someone pulls away by now.

Obama has won the last eight states by over 20 points.

Stalemate? I think King needs a nap.

Green is the one that had his piece on Clinton spiked by GQ.

Edwards is your winner, by 22 freaking percent.

This is as much of a netroots effect, maybe more, than an Obama effect.

Right. He mentioned that in the piece, with a link to this Politico story about it.

Say what you will about her politics, and I don't like to sound like one of those dirty old men that I work with, but damn, Amy Holmes is beautiful.

Wynn and Edwards both tried to play the Obama card. I don't think it mattered to either one of them. Wynn is arrogant and can rub people the wrong way. A few years back one of his ex-wives actively campaigned against him, and tried to play the "he doesn't like black women card" in PG County because Wynn got re-married to a white woman. And for close to two years now it's been all about what a scoundrel, lout, and all around not-nice guy Wynn is. Contrast that with Edwards, who is a black woman talking about how she's a working mom who has had liens put on her and how she declared bankruptcy once and almost lost her home, and the people in PG especially can relate. In Montgomery, she just said she's the more liberal candidate and gets her votes that way.

Don't like her politics, but yeah, she is.
