    I don't doubt that for a second.

Alas, I can't link to those while I'm at work. :(

  2. OK, somebody who's been on the bandwagon longer than me want to explain why Obama made time for the corporate DLC wet-dream wing of the Democratic party?

My buggy won't start. What are we talking about, now?

On the lighter side, I was talking with my Baby Boomer dad -- a HRC supporter, as the core of her support is Baby Boomers -- and was talking some playful trash about how my man Obama was starting to really kick some ass.

Then I threw it out that it amused me that many in the "Don't Trust Anyone Under 35" generation can't trust anyone under 50.

"Yeah son, I gotta go. Bye!"

Never been hung up on by the old man for a political reason. The generation gap lives!

He'll readily admit that. He doesn't dislike Obama at all, but I think there's a certain (eroding) pride factor with Baby Boomers and Clinton. What Baby Boomers are looking at if things remain as they are is voting for their dad (McCain) or voting for their kid (Obama), and I think that resonates deeply for a generation that prided itself on changing the world, blah, blah, blah, when it was younger. So far, and there's a way to go of course, it hasn't turned out that way in the nation's highest office.

But that's just an observation. As to my dad, there's no aisle-jumping. Obama? He'd vote YoMama if she was Democrat. If memory serves, he jumped all over Z-Man for voting Nader in '00. He ain't voting for any Republican under any circumstance.

My old man came on board a while back. I think he even donated, which has to be a first in quite some time.

Mark Penn is in the running for biggest douchebag on Earth.

“Could we possibly have a nominee who hasn't won any of the significant states -- outside of Illinois?” Chief Strategist Mark Penn said. “That raises some serious questions about Sen. Obama.”

You know, all you folks in America who don't happen to live in states where Senator Clinton has been able to cling to marginal advantages?

Please to be fucking off now.

Oh, Penn's not in the running.
    He's won it.
Wonder if he's got an IQ above 6 to realize how he's just insulting group after group.

I like how my entire region, DC/MD/VA isn't significant. Shit, Obama could win Virginia. HRC couldn't win a scratch off lotto ticket game in Virginia.

Hey, how do you think the folks in Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska feel?

No, the correct answer is, "Cold, slightly drunk, wondering if there's any leftover hotdish in the fridge... And utterly certain Mark Penn can eat my ass."
