  1. Per the NY Times article linked below, Obama may pick up one or two additional delegates from New York.

Did NYC get some of those elections officials from Dade County?

That gave me goosebumps, and not the good kind...

Sounds a lot like "ABC" by the Jackson 5, especially the "Hil-lar-y" part... I can't imagine why the comments have been disabled ::)

That's a huge part of it, but I think the detachment from the political process and its resulting ignorance is what allows this type of crap to be spread among some people... I'm constantly amazed how people can receive an e-mail or hear someone say that Obama is a Muslim and accept it at face value...

Email forwards. My sister and her husband are convinced Obama's a Muslim.

Bingo. There has been a massive effort to spread this through email, particularly to the type of people who believe that things are more believable when they aren't on television, because that is simply evidence that the "media" wants to hide the truth from "the folks."

These are the people who think they really did buy a Nigerian lottery ticket.

Yup. My sister and her hubby are much more likely to believe a right-wing email forward than anything they see on TV or read in print. The "liberal media" are Pravda West. Only by forwarding emails do the fine people of the USA keep the truth alive.

I don't even know how to respond. Really, I'm thinking. There aren't any words. Was that from Saturday Night Live?

Good to know the people who made the Appalachian State video found further employment.
