Huck was on Morning Joe this morning, and he sounded like the possibility of a third party run wasn't out of the question. (he's mad at the republicans for demanding he get out of the way). And he's saying much of the same type of stuff about the poor that the democrats are saying (the republicans are out of touch and don't realize how bad it is).

    Please! Please! Do it!

Props to Neil Abercrombie, Obama's surrogate on the island, who was up against Inoyue for Clinton but, apparently, got the job done.

  5. I don't think anyone should "get out of the way." The Huck -- and, certainly, HRC -- represent serious elements of their party's electorate. I certainly don't think they're under any obligation to drop out just so Howard Fucking Fineman can recalibrate his social schedule.
The Clintons will campaign hard until they can't campaign any more. Big deal. The numbers have become pretty well insurmountable, and likely will become more so. She still wants to be a power in the Senate, especially within an expanded D majority, and he still wants a legacy, so, no, I don't believe they're going to pull down everything around their ears. They simply aren't the power-mad Machiavellian stringpullers that the Republican noise machine has made them out to be. If they were, they wouldn't be running such a godawful campaign. So far, she hasn't DONE anything that's out of bounds. Some of her surrogates have talked trash about what they might do -- and I think that Politico story over the weekend was complete hooey -- but they haven't done anything yet except lose.

I'm sure the DNC has already reached out to him and are doing everything they can to convince him to do it.

No, it appears they're more than willing to burn the joint down if that's what it takes to get her the nomination.

Do you mean the "latte-drinking, Prius-driving, Birkenstock-wearing, trust fund" Teamsters?
