Perhaps under Hillary's tutelage in a general election campaign, Obama could cross the Commander-in-Chief threshold.

Yes. Because she has so much command experience, helping broker peace in Northern Ireland, and furthering the cause of democracy in Kosovo with Sinbad and Sheryl Crow.

Look on CNN's site, this weekend they did a pretty good story on whether or not she was FOS her claims and most of it came up yes.

So, any chance the Spitzer thing winds up hurting Obama?
Here's why I ask. While they're obviously rather different in their personalities and the tone they carry in politics, Spitzer, like Obama, ran for governor as an outsider who asked us (I lived in NY at the time) to believe in him as an agent of transformational change, a one-man battering ram that, with our support behind him, would break up the morass of Albany. He also ran some of the best political TV ads I'd ever seen until Obama came along.
He tried, it didn't work as well as he'd hoped, and we could argue 'til we're blue in the face if that was because of his over-aggressive personal style or because a place like Albany (or DC) is fundamentally unchangeable.
But either way, now he's undone, by his own failings. He let down those of us who actually believed for a minute he might be able to make a difference. How many people will see their own cynicisms reinforced by Spitzer, and reflect that on to Obama?

I don't see it. Short term it hurts Hillary much more since Spitzer was one of her commited super delegates.

It will be fun to watch Hillary and her cronies in cable news find a way to spin her loss in Mississippi today as a positive for her campaign and continue to talk about the momentum she's gained from Ohio and Texas.

Russert: "Well you know, the fact that she got 38 percent of the vote was a significant setback for Obama."

Matthews: "Obama won 20 of the 33 delegates which has to be disappointing for him because it means he's only gained seven more and his lead hasn't been able to creep above 150 yet......"

You watch, this will be 14 out of the last 17 for Obama.......and he'll be the one on the defensive by the end of the night.....
