For the most part, I'm not a fan of people going out of their way to mess with the police right now. Say what you want to say. Tell them they need to be better. Tell them there needs to be change or whatever message you feel is appropriate, but stupid crap like doughnuts on fishing rods just don't seem to take the right tone.

That said, I saw this and couldn't help laughing.

I agree with all of that. I don't think there is anything wrong with being curious about Floyd's background, including what got him arrested that day, but I get why people are upset about hearing those questions. Given that Floyd and Chauvin both worked at the same club, I would hope that is being thoroughly investigated.

I also want to know if there were other incidents that point to racism by Chauvin. I don't doubt that racism was an element in the murder of Floyd, if only because Chauvin thought he could get away with brutality in that case because Floyd was black. Given the impact that murder has had on our entire country, wanting to know more about all of the details surrounding it is natural.

Bookmarked for whenever someone tries to say the ENTIRE state of Washington is a den of left-wing socialists.

What these people did to a biracial family trying to camp at/visit Olympic National Park is awful.

And it's exactly why I'm concerned and annoyed by the hundreds of armed vigilantes keeping towns in the Northwest (and elsewhere) "safe" from Antifa and other "terrorists." Who gets to decide who is a threat?

That’s fine but just understand the protesters are fed up with waiting for changes while people dabble with “why did Chauvin snap” when the history shows that whites aren’t subject to the same treatment and don’t die the same way so it much be racism.

On my run this morning, I saw a house flying a Confederate flag and across the street was one flying a Black Lives Matter flag.

Talk about one the nose symbolism for our nation.

The Cascade Mountains divide the state in many ways.

Well, if we're going to get rid of police departments then somebody has to do it.

It’s just not even a surprise anymore.

Really, though … why isn’t he charged with attempted murder?
