    Tuned into the newser about halfway through. Feel like we're back in the 60s again.

    Trying to drown them out with the helicopter was a nice touch.

    Hmmm. The first time maybe you could buy the "well-intentioned idea gone wrong" explanation: I don't think it's probably a bad thing for majority-white students to imagine what it was like to be a slave (including circumstances in which you'd rebel).
    But.... it turns out the same teacher, several years before, had encouraged students to discuss the "positive aspects of slavery."
