But Hispanics and Asians don’t suffer disproportionately and less than whites too. this may be correlation as opposed to causation. Or it might be something else. But are racists just anti-black? You’d think they’d be against anything not white like Hispanics and Asians.

Dude, people literally planned highways through neighborhoods occupied by people of color. That fact isn’t changed by accident statistics or whatever bullshit you’re sputtering today.

No shit. I read The Power Broker too.

but how do you proclaim a racist policy, intentionally or negligently so, that only affects 1 group. Saying Hispanics don’t live in areas that got plowed under for highways?

it’s a shit job of journalism that doesn’t raise the correlation but not causation issue. Or find why the Highway designers only hate blacks but like Hispanics a d Asians more than whites.

Hear that, everyone? If you only hate blacks, you aren’t racist.

Explain it. The racists hate blacks but Asians and Hispanics are treated as if they grew up in the same trailer park as the racists?

Making a policy that targets one group is the definition of racism, dumbass.

No it’s not. Racism is the belief that one race is superior to all others or in the negative, the all races are inferior to yours.

this is bigotry and prejudice, not racism. But racism is easy for moron journalists who are looking to reinforce the current conventional wisdom.

The problem with this article is that you can’t have disparate impact on bigotry and prejudice. It takes specific intent to be a bigot or be prejudiced. Disparate impact is non-intentional discrimination with the results being the evidence and the intent is irrelevant. And the writer provides zero evidence that anything was done in a prejudiced or bigoted manner. It’s incumbent on the writer to provide facts, not one-sided sources who are predisposed to have certain opinions.

blacks are killed in car crashes at a greater rate than whites, Hispanics and Asians so the writer and their sources are supposing and inferring something without evidence. Once again POV journalism.

The real hypocrisy is he's the first to play the antisemitism card.

abbott logic: How can someone be racist against Jews if they're just one race?
