I've actually watched my cat do that. Then I get to be the one to throw it away because my wife is terrified of mice.

Wondering how long it is for the hate-filled tweets to start flowing once this NASCAR race is done.

Considering there was a Fuck Joe Biden chant during the Busch* race Saturday, I’m certain it was instantaneous.

    * I neither know or care who sponsors the junior varsity race circuit these days.

Can someone explain it to me? Why do so many people think George Floyd died from a Fentanyl overdose?.

Because people are racists and he was Black.

For the First Time in 232 Years, a Black Prosecutor Leads a Storied Office
New US Attorney for the Southern District breaks barriers?
His father was a medical doctor and his mother a nurse, both immigrants. He attended a private prep school before going to Harvard as an undergrad and being friends with Natalie Portman. On to Cambridge to receive a Master’s degree and then went to work for Democratic presidential campaigns. Then to Yale Law School. Clerkship at the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. A child of privilege who can afford to work at non-paying and low paying jobs without going into life-long student loan debt.

The only diversity in this choice is the color of his skin, otherwise he’s just another liberal elite with political connections and with massive privilege and means. A solid Assistant US Attorney with jury trial experience. He’s qualified for the job of US Attorney, the larger the office the political connections you need.

The article misses the point. He’s not only the first Black (African-American?) US Attorney for the Southern District. His claim is also: Middle class Black achieves elite and privileged status.

I'll take "Who should be the last one to comment on diversity for $400, Alex."

Gotta disagree with you there. Racial/ethnic diversity begins with skin color.

BTW, many racists are scared shitless of Black men, so yes, this is a step forward.

If you don't understand the significance of a man with black/brown skin heading any part of the justice department, you really have not been paying attention to America. That guy can walk out of his house and get gunned down by a cop who doesn't know what his background is. Could happen today it could happen tomorrow. So the more people of color we have injustice the more just it becomes.
