Judge in Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial says lawyers cannot call the two people he killed ‘victims’
Kenosha County Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder ruled on Monday that Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyers can refer to the men he shot and killed in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020 as “rioters” and “looters,” but prosecutors may not call them “victims” at any time during the teen’s upcoming murder trial, according to the Chicago Tribune. Rittenhouse, now 18, has pleaded not guilty to the charges and says he acted in self-defense when he fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and wounded Gaige Grosskreutz while patrolling the streets with an AR-15-style rifle amid the protests surrounding the shooting of Jacob Blake, a Black man, by a White police officer, the Tribune reports. Keep it here for the latest.

Can we do South African racism here as well? Saw this on the AP wire this afternoon and thought it was interesting.

Cricket South Africa ordered its national team to take a knee in support of Black Lives Matter before its matches at the World Cup in Dubai. It was, in part, a response to some players kneeling and others standing with various postures before recent matches.
One of South Africa's best players, Quinton de Kock, was standing during the earlier matches and then refused to play at all when the order to kneel came down.
It has caused quite a stir. CSA is saying it issued the order to show solidarity for anti-racism movements and try to atone for the country's racist past. Others, naturally, are bristling at being forced to take a political stance they disagree with.

CSA, huh? For at least one of the players, that seems like perfect abbreviation.

Does Tomlin get asked that question if he is white?
