Reading his other posts is quite...enlightening.

He worried about property. He says he was worried about the people who own that property, but his very first post was about what would happen if protesters overwhelmed his "concierge" and entered his apartment building. And then he chose to brandish a weapon. Sure, not a firearm. But a weapon all the same.

It's good that he's alive and he didn't deserve to be beaten. But he clearly doesn't get it.

I saw the original video and I would question the "he didn't deserve to get beaten". He charged people waving a sword and people ran, in fear of being slashed or stabbed. If he got the hell beaten out of him, it wasn't for something he said while standing there watching.

I remember people saying when Trump attacked the press “oh but he doesn’t really mean it, ...don’t worry”; I said it’s encouraging such attacks.

The press, minorities, his words encourage.

SHOW HIM THE DOOR IN NOVEMBER!!

Might be time to put this comparison away. The Floyd protests are peaceful for hours and hours until a few people - IMO, with intent for mayhem - change it into a riot. It has little to do with the police response and, when it’s a white person, even less to do with Floyd.

I haven't seen him charge or provoke - not saying it didn't happen, just that I haven't personally seen it. So that's why I said he didn't deserve to get beaten. If he did provoke while wielding a weapon, then yeah...he deserved it.

The guy in Utah with the bow? He had it coming. In fact, if he fired a projectile at anyone - hard to see from the video - then he should be charged with assault or even attempted homicide.

I kind of think anyone who wants to be a public servant, which by definition means they serve the public and they are paid from taxes, should have to share their social network information with their perspective bosses. I mean if somebody wants to be a cop is flirting with the proud boys or the three percenters or the oath keepers on Facebook, maybe that should disqualify them, or whatever liberal equivalents there are to those groups. We don't need extremists among our first responders.
