I'm Jewish just like you are. My own forebears in this country faced the same discrimination yours did. I was "othered" as a kid in the same ways you were. I still deal with the same microaggressions I'm sure you do. I'm as appalled as you are by how much people minimize anti-semitism in this country and how dismissive they get when you bring it up. But I'm not about to compare the Jewish experience in this country to the Black experience. You shouldn't either. It's just not remotely the same thing.

Michele Tafoya made at least $10 million over the years, all while working for the liberal media (CBS, ESPN, NBC). They were just fine when they were signing her checks.

Where’s the part on the flow chart that includes conveniently leaving out key elements of why something is racist to complain about being called a racist?

White people moving = not racist
White people moving because minorities are moving in = racist
White people moving into homes or developments where minorities were either evicted or had rents raised to force them to move = racist
Sees color = not automatically racist
Sees color and judges someone based on that color = racist
Claims they don’t see color = racist. If you have to point it out, you’re compensating. If you just be and let others be but don’t make a show of how you have black friends, you’re fine.
Doesn’t take part in culture because you gave it a try but it didn’t find it suited your taste but acknowledges its relevance as a form of expression or outlet = probably not racist
Doesn’t take part in culture because it is thuggish/trashy/looks-smells-sounds really odd and you don’t understand why it exists = racist
Takes part in culture while acknowledging who it belongs to, celebrating with members of the culture and not claiming it as your own = fine
Taking part in a culture and trying to pass it off as yours or changing it to be more white = cultural appropriation.
Posting idiotic memes complaining how members of a dominant culture is treated = racist

Maybe I should post this on the cops gone feral thread but people have defended her by saying it was the victim’s fault because he resisted.

If you resi, can the police legally kill you? Are all bets off? Since when has that been the case?
