He HAD to be doing on his on, wanting to go out with a bang. I wouldn't be surprised if it was done as sarcastic response to what he was feeling could happen in today's climate. It's too outrageous to not be thought forward. I think he's not racist, but bringing racism to light in a misguided way.

The sad thing is driving a forklift for your future is kind of fun.

North Idaho continues to distinguish itself.

At a candidate forum, a frustrated Republican state senator couldn't handle a Democratic candidate talking about how racism remains a problem in America and particularly in North Idaho. He stood and bellowed, “I’m so sick and tired of this liberal bulls---! Why don’t you go back to where you came from?”

Of course, the person he told to "go back where she came from" was a member of the Nez Perce Reservation, whose ancestors have been here for thousands of years.

The guy should have walked a few steps back, stopped and said, “Ok. I’m back where I came from. I believe I’m still in the district.”

IMHO, the comeback would be "where did you come from?"

I think I've shared this before but in 1989 at the Gm 4 WS, I was targeted (when A's were on the way to the sweep and I mockingly cheered an A's hit) with the "why don't you go back to Vietnam" from someone a few rows back from me who was upset at the A's. My response was "my grandfather came here 100 years ago, when did you get here?" It was nice to hear those around me say "glad you said that and shut him up."

Margaret Cho and Knoxville-based comedian, Henry Cho (no relation) have skewered many of the stereotypes and assumptions European-Americans have about Asian-Americans.

You're probably more familiar with Margaret Cho.

Henry Cho did a bit of sitcom work in the 80s.
