Because arresting the people committing the crimes is better than gassing, shooting rubber bullets at, and/or arresting the protesters?

Neither did this, from the chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Whole lot going on between the lines here.

Please, stop describing them as peaceful.

You are making people think this is not normal behavior.

His timing was so fucking off on this that the DB walked it back for six the other way.

I was having a similar conversation with a friend, me saying his performance in front of the church was disgusting. Her response actually was, “he’s not capable in that area, but my 401k”. I know she got that from her brother in law, a big time trump supporter. But that’s the tact it looks like they are going to take. But one lives in New Jersey and the other in California, so they won’t make a big difference in this election.

Just happened in Seattle: Because the protesters there have been utterly peaceful, the mayor has canceled the curfew.

I wonder what will go there instead? Dick Tarrant? Shaka Smart? Statues or not, Monument Avenue is a beautiful street.

See here’s exactly the problem; she’s most probably white, so never confronted ANY racial oppression, then is outraged when the consequences of such behavior on blacks leads to protest and looting that intrudes on her security in life.

    There are consequences to oppression.
