ND answers with a FG of their own. Back up 10, 13-3 with 0:43 left in the half.

UConn threatening after a crazy juggling catch that went for 40-some yards. They HAVE to find a way to get in for a TD here. Facing third-and-goal from the 3.

UConn takes all 4 downs, but gets a TD with 17 seconds left in half. About to be 21-10. At least it's still a game -- for now.

This must have been what it was like before tv and you had to read ticker tape

A question for D-III Fan and other Hawkeye folks:

I see Adam Robinson had a big game at tailback. Jewel Hampton is suspended. But where's Brandon Wegher? Is he hurt/redshirting?

    Just wondering.

Apropos of nothing, Blaine Gabbert now has at least two more second-half comebacks than Chase Daniel ever did. And on a homerriffic note, it's a good thing that only one decent half of football is needed to beat Illinois.

Where's the 50-point mercy rule when you need it?

Halftime score: Oregon 59, New Mexico 0

Ducks soph. RB Kenjon Barner has 147 yards and 4 TDs rushing. Oh, and he also caught a 60-yard TD pass. Not too shabby.

Crist connects on a TD pass on Notre Dame's first drive of the second half. 20-3, ND.

It is amazing how many shitty games are played (1) on television and (2) in sold out stadiums. Why anyone would pay one dime to see some of these games is way beyond me.

WTF is the deal with Dayne Crists's (ND QB) jersey? Looks like he's wearing a tank top. Don't his pads have to be covered?

Robinson, apparently, just set the single-game rushing record for a QB at Michigan.
