Surprised no one mentioned Matt Szymanski's 61-yard field goal yesterday for SMU. That was a pretty good game at Lubbock.

Finally, it's time for Boise v. Virginia Tech. This is Boise's entire season.

    I'm going with Boise 42-21.

Oh man, I don't know about that. This is a home game for Va Tech. And instead of being in Blacksburg it's right where their biggest alumni base is. You're going to have a lot of former Tech students trying to timewarp back to their days in Blacksburg (it'll be just like those days at the Hokie House and TOTS!) making that place loud. I've always been a Boise fan, going back to when no one knew Boise (the city, not the school) existed except the degenerate gamblers who knew they always covered, but I think Tech wins this one.

I don't think Boise is going to run away with it, but I'll take 'em by a touchdown.

One BCS conference school goes unbeaten: Ohio State, maybe?
SEC and Big 12 champs finish with 1 loss: Bama/Florida and Texas?
    Boise State runs the table.

    Chaos.

I think there's a better chance TCU runs the table than Boise does.

Somehow, an old-fart dictator at a glorified high school doesn't translate into "sane" to me.

Easy to say since they're +1 already.

Okie Lite has a better chance of winning the B12 South than Texas this year. Horns can't run the pill.

I think Va. Tech wins, by six maybe.

I don't think its an automatic Big 12 v. SEC BCS title game. People realize Oklahoma isn't as good as it used to be, so Texas's "big" win of the year, just isn't as good.

Numbers look the same but the swagger that Leach gave them is gone. They traded pirate cool for the bland Tuberville.

Texas Tech's days of being interesting and relevant are just about done, I'm thinking.
