    I love number 18 from VT. Commits three penalties in one play and then throws his arms up like he did nothing wrong. Whatta fuckin' joke.

    Is roughing an automatic first down in college? Because if it is not, that 23-yard run looks really sweet right now.

    They called running into the kicker. That's only a five-yard penalty and it's not an automatic first down.

    Roughing is 15 and an automatic first down.

    #2 is a heartbeat from a flag in the Va Tech secondary as well.

    VT will lead the nation in penalties this week.

    Last I saw was 1 1/2. But it might have been close to a pick 'em once they kicked off.

    But the hue and cry will come afterward that, "Well, Virginia Tech played horribly. It was their first game, they made a lot of mistakes, etc."
