And as horribly as they've played the Hokies are only down six.

 

A VT alum I know said the Hokies always have one bad quarter; sometimes two or more, but hardly ever zero. He's hoping that was it.

 

Two top-10 teams we've got here. *Love* those preseason polls.

 

And Brent is already making excuses for Boise...

 

Uncle Brent's got money on this and the over.

 

I love that damn DC heat wearing Boise down.

Tech has Boise topped in three key areas: bigger, faster, stronger.

If Boise can keep this lead, they will need more Tech mistakes.

 

Chiming in late on the uniforms here, they both suck. I love the matte VT helmets but everything else is garish.

This is a easily winnable game for VT. Boise is slowly breaking down.

 

One thing I do like about the Boise helmet is they dropped the "Boise State" and just went with the horsehead.

Helmet logos should be words or logos, not both. Boise & Oregon State are guilty of violating that rule.

LSU is the only school that makes it work for some reason.

 

VT's uniforms are awful. Worse still, the Pitt version that Nike put together. Makes me want to puke.

 

Tech appears to be a bit amped up.
