Alito would feel right at home on the Taney Supreme Court.

My impression has been that, unlike almost everything else Trump did or didn't do, the Supreme Court appointees are some of the few that truly DGAF about him once appointed. I mean, that's always been true to an extent - Earl Warren was appointed by Eisenhower, and Burger was appointed by Nixon but did little to stem "liberal" decisions from being handed down from the Supreme Court. Justices shift allegiance and mindset once they're actually on the bench - I imagine Roberts has been far more centrist than anticipated.

The one thing to watch will be abortion cases. That was Twitchy's one and only litmus test to my knowledge.

Amy Covid Barrett and Beer Bong Brett won’t let him down on abortion.

The religious freedom case on the ability to shut out LGBT couples from fostering was a red flag. Say what they want about Obamacare, it can be justified in the constitution and is good law. The judgement cases are where things are going to get screwy. Abortion rights are that grey 9th Amendment vs 10th Amendment area that can easily get pushed around by conservatives. Expect some real harm to Roe v Wade coming up.

The foster care case was unanimously decided.

Still hoping Breyer announces his retirement next week.

I don't trust Manky Joey with that 50th vote even for him.

It’s even worse than I thought. The conservatives have brain washed the liberals. We’re doomed!

(Actually my wife read the cliff notes of the article and I missed the vote. I’m going to slowly back away)

    NCAA loses Alston.

Unanimous decision, written by Gorsuch. Kavanaugh files a separate concurrence.
