I apologize. My comments were meant tongue in cheek. I am an imperfect person, I will work on this and try to improve on my personality and hopefully my comments won't offend anyone in the future. I never meant to creep anyone out, but thanks for pionting this out, perhaps I can learn from this and become a better person.

Maybe you can work on your common sense, too.

Don't patronize me. It's been mentioned on here before by me and by others. I doubt this one tongue lashing will have any effect on you.

The turn this thread has taken is absolute proof that nothing of any value came out of two days of SEC fanboylooser Media Days.

And just think of all those bush league fishwrap papers that saved their time and money by not being there

This is perhaps the most brutal thread ever.

My guess is most of us here were too busy working to post anything of any real significance the past two days. I feel good about having earned my keep here. I've filed good stuff, have 12 hours of Q&A on tape, tab capsules ready and story ideas planned for weeks in advance. Sadly, I was unable to post photos of hot chicks or try to justify my trip to SportsJournalists.com members who don't pay my salary, but I'll be able to sleep tonight anyway.

There's one more day to go, and it's already been a very productive trip in more ways than I care to explain.

On a lighter note, what's up, slappy?

    Chazp,

What you have done is unprofessional and reprehensible. Asking the girls for their permission to keep the photos (not take the photos, but keep the photos) DOES NOT make your behavior acceptable. You had no work-related reason for taking photos of those girls, which means those photos were for personal use, which does smack of a certain perverseness. And to share those personal photos on an industry-related website for no other purpose than gawking and making yourself feel important to be in the company of 'hot chicks' is depraved and desperate.

I hope that the SEC conference office sees fit to revoke your credential for this event and all future conference events. At the very least, the SEC communications director should be having a conversation with your boss.

I feel sorry for your wife.

Hey slappy, did you give Nick the bird once he stepped off his throne, err, podium?

I don't know. Word has it that Saban called ESPN and told them to stop running and give him the original film. He's planning to sue Bear Bryant for impersonating him as a coach.

Nope... I did not attend Media Daze this year. However, I did do it when I saw the TV interviews -- especially the part where he said he would handle the discipline of three players arrested on The Strip a couple of weeks ago "in house"
