    Crazy parents

    Hidin' somewhere in the night

    I thought the criminals all lived in the city, not north of 8 Mile. At least that's what Oakland County leadership has said for decades.

    The parents did not turn themselves in yesterday. Today, because of a less than 24 hour evasion of the process, they have a combined bail of over $ 1 million.

    I think the police will be able to find them a bit easier now.

    They must be getting tough on crime up there. I don’t think they even took them to Burger King on the way to the clink.

    You would think — you would think — that running and hiding would make it pretty easy to convict them. But I’m not holding my breath that it will play out that way. Plenty of Rittenhouse judges out there.

    They might not make the charges stick but at some point the parents have to be held legally accountable in these situations. The vast majority of minors who commit these school shootings are getting the guns at home. Parents have been convicted for being present at parties at their homes where kids drink, then get behind the wheel of a car and kill themselves or others. I don't know what that principle wouldn't apply here.

    If they get a conviction, 35 states will pass laws to exempt parents from anything their kids do with guns. If they walk it will only be 30.
