    Seriously, though.

    Whomever the adult is who is responsible for that gun needs to start planning for an extended period behind bars.

    And that includes original purchaser if current owner never registered the gun. Accountability, mother fuckers. Accountability.

    A six year old taking a gun to school and shooting his teacher is an excellent example of why laws making gun owners responsible are being put forward. This isn't "responsible gun ownership", nor is it "well regulated".

    How fucked up is that kid's life now? Does a 6-year-old wind up in juvenile detention for the next 12 years? Does a first grader understand attempted murder charges?

    I would hope that a six year old isn't screwed for life. It's certainly not going to look good in his permanent record.
