I'm assuming the unmarked dot to the right of New Zealand is Switzerland, which has a very high number of guns (2.5 million) given its population (8.7 million). Basically military service is mandatory, and after military service they have the option of keeping their guns.

 

Or Finland, which also has a high rate of firearm ownership. I think Serbia leads Europe in firearms per capita at around 40 or so per 100 people. Unlike here where we are around 125 per 100 people.

I've given up. If not after Newtown, shortly thereafter. It's hopeless.

I don't want to get murdered going about my daily routine because the NRA is in total ownership of a political party. But I might. Or a loved one might be killed. The odds increase every day.

I feel a lot safer in New York City than other places in this country, even with all the (fake) crime.

It's just a fucking game to trumplicans.

Until the 70 percent who allegedly want substantial change start voting the blood-loving gun lovers out of fucking office, there is ZERO hope.

Nothin' will be done. Just hope it's not you or your family.

 

I don’t even know if most of them are gun lovers. They love the money and the votes the NRA provides. Sure, you’ve got your Boeberts and MTGs. But Kevin McCarthy and the rest don’t strike me as a gun fetishists.

 

Won’t change anything. But he is a huge presence in the South.
