Official spokesman did not confirm any fatalities, but several major outlets reporting at least one.
The Detroit News appears to be walking back its report of a fatality; it's been removed from their website.

Suspect wearing denim jacket, blue ball cap with light brim, dark pants and bright red shoes (WTF)

 

Local TV now reporting three confirmed fatalities.

 

Yikes. Gunman still at large?

 

As of now, yes.
The scheduled presser at midnight has now been reset for 12:20 which would seem to indicate something substantial is breaking.

 

School districts within 3-5 miles (East Lansing, Okemos) and within 10-12 miles (Williamston, Lansing Waverly) have canceled classes tomorrow.
Several others within the 10-12 radius have not. What that indicates, I dunno.

 

Multiple unconfirmed reports the gunman is down about 5 miles from campus.
