And this series shows why the 2-2-1-1-1 series is better than the 2-3-2 the NBA employs for the Finals. Boston has all the momentum. As it should after covering its home ice. It shouldn't be rewarded by getting Game 5 at home. Glad the NHL still does it this way (and, yes, I'm staying this as someone not having to make the trans-continental flights).

Marchand play was chickenshit. Would've preferred Thomas didn't crack Burrows and just got the hell out of Dodge. But it sure says something about who's in whose head that he got away with it.

Who starts in goal for Van in Game 5? Schneider was solid.

Yeah, wasn't real fond of the hit he had late in Game 3 either.

I like Boston and want them to win. Thomas in his interviews seems like a decent, likeable guy. Those actions just seem counter to that.

Bruins in the Finals, so they're worth following for him.

He's written before about how he lost interest in the Bruins' fortunes. Now, here he is, just like any other fandork, on the bandwagon.

I love Schneider and I really believe he has a huge future but you have to go with Luongo.

I know they replaced Luongo in the Chicago series, but I agree with JC. He's back for Game 5.

and as much as I defend Luongo on this board, I don't care if he goes back to back shutouts and hoists the cup. I go forward with Schneider, IMO he is that good

Gotta go with Luongo in Game 5. He's your "franchise" goaltender and it's hard to argue the franchise has ever had a more important game to play.

Canucks are lucky series is 2-2 and they still have a shot. Two games in Vancouver: toss ups. Two games in Boston: blowouts.

Interesting story here: anonymous couple donates the net (allegedly) from Orr's goal.

Thomas is a decent, likeable guy, but he's a very emotional player.

He said the Nucks were grabbing the butt end of his stick several times in the first and second periods, so he was trying to send a message when they did it again.
