The Marchand back body drop was a bit dirty, but if Daniel Bobbsie doesn't try to stir it up after the whistle we're not having this chat.

The Marchand hit was dirty? Sedin was coming in to take a run at him well after the whistle. What's he supposed to do, stand there and get creamed?

Didn't care for the submarining, he had time and other ways to defend himself from Sedin. And let's face it, Sedin isn't a Canuck I associate with tough, physical play.

The bad play, in my opinion, was the play on Ehrhoff. No reason whatsoever to grab his stick on that play and flip him. It was a bush league play.

The play on Ehrhoff was pretty dumb, but that's Marchand. You can count on him to cross the line and take a chippy/stupid penalty at some point in just about any game. This is the same dude who left his feet and knocked out a Columbus player in open ice a couple of days after the Chara-Pacioretty incident. He plays on emotion, which makes him a better player, and he's a pest, but you've gotta be somewhat disciplined in the finals.

Going low on Sedin was pretty understandable -- he was getting run after the whistle and crouched to defend himself.

I kind of want to have a beer with Simmons' dad. That mustache is incredible.

Chris Pronger probably paid him good money for it.

I still think the Canucks should have ran him through the glass at the end of game 4 but it is real tough not to be a fan of Tim Thomas.

Loved this line: "Thomas was like a bad Ikea wall unit, having been returned to Scandinavia three separate times before being finally accepted by the Boston Bruins."

    After 1 period, 0-0:

If you're a Bruins fans, perhaps you're saying, "We had better (and more) scoring chances."

If you're a Canucks fan, perhaps you're saying, "Luongo looks sharp."

I'm of the opinion Vancouver's next goal will come in their first exhibition game in September.

No score after two. I figure next goal wins.

I pick Burrows to win it for the Canucks---just to piss off all those Boston fans
