The Bruins needed to capitalize on those early power plays. Of all the times for their crappy power play to show up again....

The Bruins will feel sick if they lose this series. They could have won all three games in Boston if not for their power play.

Very, very close. Choice 1A. Lapierre.

Bruins needed to score during the first period, when they were 0-3 on the PP.

Van dominated the second, but forgot how to score.

Van controlled the third, got one. Game over. Thomas was great again. Bruins have scored two goals in three games at Van, 12 goals in two games at Boston.

    Vancouver got a good bounce.

Bruins hit a pipe and hit the back of Luongo's blocker. Three millimeters and one fortunate bounce changes the series.

It's a crying shame that Thomas has basically stolen two games and they've lost both 1-0. If their power play was just bad instead of mind-numbingly awful, they'd have been skating with the Stanley Cup tonight.

I'm counting off the top of my head, but six goals in five games and Vancouver has a 3-2 lead? Unbelievable.

Reminds me of the 2001 World Series. The right team won that time. Hopefully, that happens again. If the Bruins would generate any smidge of offense on the road, we'd be talking about the draft right now.

I think of the 1960 Series. May not be a perfect comparison, but the Yanks absolutely clobbered the Pirates in 3 games, but we all know how it ended.

    Who becomes Bill Mazeroski?

Tim Thomas may end up getting the Conn Smythe no matter who wins the Cup. He's outplaying Luongo.

I love the mind numbingly remedial analysis. It's not aggregate score. The Canucks dominated the first 2 games and Thomas stood on his head to keep it close.

Even as a Canuck fan I absolutely hate Lappiere. They should just play game 7 Monday and save the cross continent trip. This is going to game 7.

Agreed, but Luongo played great last night

I hate when people say a goalie "stood on his head." It's like saying a baker makes really good doughnuts. It's their job.

I think if it goes seven, Thomas will win the Conn Smythe either way.
