It's a perfectly good expression. It means that the goalie has singlehandedly won a game or kept a team in a series when they have no business being in it Think Hasek versus, say, Osgood.

I don't know if the Canucks dominated the first two games. Boston did lead for a good chunk of game 2. Plus the Bs had a few opportunities in Game 1.

You could say the same thing if even one of the Sedins or Kesler had done anything in Boston before either of those games got out of hand.

Which Henrik Sedin was happy to point out to a group of reporters.

“I think he has to be happy with his career,” said the Canucks’ captain, referring to Milbury, aka Mad Mike, the man who ironically traded away Roberto Luongo for a bag full of pucks in his days as the New York Islanders’ general manager. “He did a great job on Long Island. I'm sure he is happy with that.”

How about Luongo's "I would've stopped that puck" on the goal Friday night?
Roberto, do you prefer Dismiss or Summer's Eve?

He went on to say that Thomas makes saves that he wouldn't make. Unfortunately for him, few people appear to have read that much of the quote.

I love how people like you leave out what he really said. I guess Bruins fans are just like the red sox front running douchebag fans
