I can't get over the rampant paranoia of my family in Vancouver. Absolutely convinced that the Bruins are the dirtier team but being favoured by the refs at Bettman's orders. It gets tiresome very fast.

JonnyD, it isn't the total score that makes me think Vancouver sucks. Hockey's the kind of game where trying to claw back from an early multiple-score deficit carries the likely risk of things getting worse real fast. It's the way the Canucks have been beaten. Bruins get a goal, and Vancouver collapses utterly for 5, 10, 20 minutes at a stretch. Last night in the first period it looked like they weren't wearing skates out there. Not exactly the grace under pressure one likes to see in a potential champion.

As someone not very familiar with the Bruins roster, I must say I've really enjoyed watching Krejci and Lucic play this postseason. And both 3 year guys with a lot of hockey ahead of them.

Been in-and-out on the rebroadcast and haven't seen it yet. Disappointing, though. Deb Placey does a solid job trying ringlead. How many more folks can NHL Network squeeze on the set?

Weight's staying with the Isles, but he's got tremendous potential as a commentator. For one thing, he speaks coherently. Johnson, Turco and, to a lesser extent, Weekes have been hard to listen to.

Nobody in this series is cocky (aside from Luongo).
Aside from that 4 1/2 minute stretch, it was a pretty even game. Vancouver dominated the first 5-6 minutes of the third period to the point where, even three goals down, the game did not look over. That call on the goal which wasn't was the biggest break the Bruins got - the replay was like a free timeout, and it killed the Canucks' momentum.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Bruins are a different team with No. 46 in the lineup. When Mike Richards crushed him last year and put him on the sidelines, it changed the whole complexion of the series.

Lucic, well, any perception people have that this team is big and tough begins with him. People try to compare him to Cam Neely, but I thought Neely had more offensive skill. Still, Lucic is more than just a banger.

Hadn't caught a post-game on NHLN before last night. Thought Weight was pretty good, but in a couple of spots it seemed pretty clear he didn't think too highly of her questions or opinion. Maybe they've got an inside thing from her work with the Islanders but who knows.

Vancouver should have to forfeit for getting blown out three times in six games. I mean, COME ON MAN

Seriously, you're still harping on that? After you've been proven wrong?

Flags fly forever. But that doesn't mean we can't think they got lucky and outplayed.
