Curious to see if Roberto screws the pooch tonight and gets run out of town.

I'm expecting the unexpected insofar as series trends. Buckle up.

I can actually say I have watched a complete period of hockey for the first time in my life.

I must say, I am quite enthralled with this.

First of all; this Emrick fellow is very VERY good.

Second of all; Until the last couple of minutes, there was a consistent flow to the match. None of the primadonna crying that was a constant in the NBA playoffs, none of the commercial shenanigans that made up the Super Bowl.

Oh; and whoever #33 is for Boston; 6'9 and 255? Jesus Christ......did they get him on loan from the Pats or something?

  5. Zdeno Chara, Boston's captain. One of the top defensemen in the NHL and the tallest ever to play in the league.

Meanwhile in Vancouver, the liquor stores were ordered closed at 4 p.m., just like during the medal round in 2010.

Emrick's great but I'm hanging with HNIC and CBC on my laptop tonight. That suit Don Cherry is wearing, yikes.

And yes, Double J, I'll be 96 and using a walker when the Rangers win another Cup. I know. ;)

Past age 50, Richard Brodeur would've stopped that goal.

Pretty sure nobody's gonna be pumping Luongo's tires after this series.
