Got no dog in the fight and can't see how anybody could think it was anything other than a clean goal.

And there's No. 4. Kinda fitting.

Guess this is the result you kinda expect/deserve when you unguarantee your guarantee.

Is it a bad thing for the NHL that after such an intersting and exciting series that seemed to be attracting a lot of casual fans that this game was such a dud?

What a performance, not just by Thomas, but by all the Bruins. They faced Game 7 of the finals on the road and kicked ass.

Possibly a stupid question, but where will this leave Recchi on the list of Cups won with different teams?

Wow, I was checking the score on NHL.com. A minute ago it said 3-1 Boston, but when I checked back to see if they'd closed the gap, it was 4-0. Oops.

    Wrong button.

I don't like the Bruins (particularly the NESN crew), but I do like Tim Thomas and loathe the Canucks so this is the more acceptable of the two possible outcomes in my eyes.

Have the fires and vandalism started in Vancouver yet?

I'm pretty sure a team just scored 8 goals in a 7-game final and their goalie is going to be the scapegoat.

Only the second time in my life my favorite pro team has won a title (90 Reds). This is amazing.
