Everybody boos Bettman, but they took it to another level.

 

true but he is supposed to be the best or one of the best. at least last winter when he won gold pretty much everyone said he was the best. this series he was outplayed by a guy who didn't make the NHL until he was about 30. not a knock on Thomas, that's a great story.

 

Bettman is booed *everywhere*.

 

I'm sure the Sedin twins will get plenty of criticism too, though you're probably right that Luongo will get the LeBron treatment.

Oh, and nice touch by the arena operations staff playing "Dirty Water" while the Bruins skated the Cup. Too bad the fans weren't nearly as classy.

 

Yes, but that was a lot of frustration being let out.

Awesome they cheered for Lucic, though.

 

And the Leafs still haven't won a Cup since 1967.

 

They're booing Boychuk and Marchand, heh.

A lot of it is bitterness, not just the general NHL-fans-hate-Bettman noise.

 

Yeah, that was not just hate for Bettman. But who cares? Bruins are skating the cup around. Better team won and the far better goalie was the difference.

 

Apparently some cars are already overturned in Vancouver. Any word out of Boston?

Gonna be some extra mainlining in Downtown Eastside tonight. What a shithole that side of town is...one of the scariest places on earth.
