Look, Roberto, we believe in you. I mean, yeah, we benched you. And, yeah, you've got three Ls in a row. But YOU'RE OUR GUY.

Too late for a postseason 3-for-1 deal between Philly and Vancouver? Flyers send all three of their shitty goalies to the Canucks for the shell of Roberto Luongo.

funny you should say that, if both teams lose game 7 has a deal ever made more sense? Not the one you proposed but smething.

In the post game presser, Vigneault said Schneider might be good to go on Tuesday. WTF?

Luongo made a good save on the initial shot but why did he end up on his stomach?

Not for nothing, but I'm quite glad ... for once at least ... that the Caps won't be involved in such late series drama. Nice to finally close a series out for once.

Yea, Bickell's hit was dirty as hell, and I'm a Hawks fan.

I know I'm biased, but I just can't see the Canucks winning Game 7. Chicago has all the momentum, and anyone who watched the game could see Luongo looked lost. Hell, to me the only chance Vancouver has is for Crawford to have just an awful game, because I can't see Luongo doing anything to help the Canucks win.

About the only thing Vancouver has going for it is that now it's shouldn't have any trouble matching Chicago's desperation. If the Canucks can get a lucky bounce or two, they might be in business. If something goes wrong early, though, watch out.

It was actually the Canucks best game of the series, they dominated the third and overtime. If they play like that |Tuesday they should be alright, but I doubt they will.

Luongo gets $10 million per year and is just getting abused out there. He's not getting much help from the Sedin twins or Kesler or his defense, but isn't he supposed to be the best goalie in the world? Watching Schnieder handle the puck made me want to scratch my eyes out. Almost cost his team two goals, and it finally did cost them a goal when they were ahead by one.

If Chicago scores first, I think they may be doomed in Game 7.

I heard some plus/minus stat on the Sedins in this series that made my eyes hurt - can't remember now of course what they said but it was very ugly.

Nothing you wouldn't expect. They've been even or plus in the Vancouver wins and minus in the losses. They are net minuses, but when your D isn't clearing guys, Schneider hands the opposition two goals, and Luongo goes south this quickly, plus-minus is more of a team stat anyway.

I had an interesting debate about this w/a former colleague of mine. He, a New Mexican and Penguins fan (therefore unbiased), claims a lot of it is the team in front of Luongo. The team itself shut down for a couple games cause they thought they had it in the bag. Plus, he noted, Luongo went an entire period without giving up a goal.
Me, as a born-and-bred Chicagoan, retaliated with A) they're eventually going to get to him cause they've been in his head the last two postseasons B) He's going to make a mistake because he's been shaky the last two games and C) the fact he was in the locker room during the game instead of on the bench. Couldn't even stomach to be near the actual rink because he sees the Indian head sweater and becomes jelly.
