Yup. But the first four games made the NJ Devils of the mid 90`s look like the Habs of the 70`s.

I want the Canucks to win but man, I really want the Preds to make them work for it. A win in Nashville tomorrow night would be awesome.

I'd love it too, but I doubt the Preds can keep pulling 3-plus goals a night out of their asses.

These are the Sharks we've come to know and loathe in the postseason: Finding ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory (no pun intended).

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't ecstatic right now. What great effort after getting outshot by 20 and falling by two goals in the 3rd period. This just became a series.

Datsyuk had three assists while injured -- you could call it the "bum wrist hat trick"

Well that was deflating. The Sharks took their foot off the gas pedal and the Wings made them pay dearly. Congrats to the Wings, really. When it was 2-0 Sharks I thought given how physical it was the Wings were going to start taking cheap penalties and call it a season. Oh how wrong I was. The Sharks had some bad breakdowns on D. A 3-1 lead in the 3rd looked like it was over but the Sharks forgot to keep playing hard.

The disheartening thing is the Sharks were the faster, quicker, stronger team for the first 2 periods then stopped.

The good news is the Sharks still hold the 3-2 lead and have two more chances to close the Wings out. With Franzen out and Datsyk hanging on, its even better.

I apologize to the Sharks fans for ever saying I was pulling for them. Honestly, it was innocent. Just a Capitals fans hoping for something nice from a team that has struggled to find postseason success. I mean, you can understand that, right? I feel like I might have jinxed San Jose, and that's a total dick move on my part. So from now on ...

    GO MAPLE LEAFS!!!!! (Hi JR)

Not your problem that Marleau fails to show the toughness needed when closing out a team and decides to skate like its a 7-1 blowout after Datsyk takes the puck away from him on the boards without Marleau hitting him once.
