It's nice to see that there are choking dogs representing both countries in the Pacific & Northwest Divisions.

It'll probably be Detroit and Nashville in the Conference Final.

as far as I can tell no one has choked yet. Not sure why people expect sweeps.

Two seventh games...two seventh games, so Patrice Bergeron misses less action. That concussion from Friday is a big problem, given the one that killed his season 3-4 years ago and the fact he played another whole season before he was himself again.

Did anyone see Jeremy Roenick lay into Marleau on Versus after the game, calling him gutless and saying he has no heart? Didn't they used to be teammates, too? Ouch. Marleau does have zero points in the series, and a guy with a bad wrist just embarrassed him on that final goal.

    ...which would be epic.

    Oh, tell me about it.

My hometown Ontario Hockey League team is playing for the championship for the first time and last night they tied the series 2-2 in front of a sold-out madhouse. It has been such an incredible rush to cover this run, which, regardless of the outcome of this series, will culminate with a Memorial Cup appearance later this month. Absolutely wonderful.

No question....I went through it two years ago and it was an amazing time and you come out of it with so much respect for the kids who busted their ass every night to get to that point. We never got to the Mem Cup, even though I believe we were the second best team in the CHL that season behind Windsor, but I have never been prouder of a group of kids in my life.

And, unlike your Peel Region rivals, you sold out your arena for the final!

You should've heard the jokes flying around the press conference room last night about Mississauga's inability to fill their building.

Oh, and Fred says hi back. :)

We certainly did sell out during the final, our crowds in the semifinal against Belleville were light years ahead of what the Majors had against Niagara. Good crowd in Missy on Friday night, how many paid to get in is another question! :)

I just posted on Facebook about crowds at the Bayshore......

Last night the announced attendance was 3,242, which jumped out at me because it was also the attendance for Game 2. Seemed strange. But since then I've been told that the Attack are just announcing random numbers because they got in shit with the fire marshal for announcing 3,600-plus for a game during the London series.

I just looked it up and capacity at the Bayshore, including the boxes and standing room, is 3,093. I don't remember the last game where the announced attendance was less than that number. Wow.....just wow.

Is The Harb rocking these days? Bet it's even tougher than ever to get a table at Norma Jean's!

Haven't been to The Harb in forever. I'd be one of the oldest people in there by about 15 years. If you can believe this, many people now refer to it as "Club H." :-\
