Hey, so you're my age. :)

Weird damn game. I have never seen three five on three goals scored in less than two minutes in the entire time I've watched hockey.

Salo's shots were friggin' awesome. No goalie in this or any other universe could have stopped those howitzers.

Wow, was the Canucks 4th goal reminiscent of the mid 90's Devils or Stars. That breakout was so Jauque Lamaire.

Even when the game was scoreless, Sharks didn't seem to have the same aggressiveness they did in Game 3. I said to a guy I was watching the game with that Vancouver had to be thrilled to get out of the first period in a scoreless tie. And then, of course, they converted on those 5-on-3 chances.

I can see Canucks wrapping it up in Game 5, but it wouldn't shock me to see San Jose go in there and win, just like Nashville did. Vancouver is better, but not that much better, especially if Niemi comes to play on Tuesday.

I figure the Tampa Bay-Boston series is going seven games.

So you can see the Canucks winning game 5 but you can also see the Sharks winning game 5? Wow, you should be paid for that analysis. You should parlay that with a series that is 2-2 and guessing it will go 7 games.

My bet is, the sun ill rise in the East.

This is some intense stuff late in Boston. And, of course, Doc Emerick is on top of his game.

Brian Rafalski set to retire after 11 seasons, mostly due to injuries. Likely announcement Wednesday.

Why would he announce his retirement in the middle of the Conference Finals?

    Bruins 3, Lightining 1.

Tim Thomas was magnificent. His blade save was one of the signature moments of the playoffs (if Boston wins the series).

Big shout-out to Patrice Bergeron, too, whose pass across the ice to Marchand was terrific.

That save was stunning. Thomas was on his head after the early goal. If he plays like this Wednesday the Lightening don't have a prayer.

He's had a pretty good season for a guy who was trade bait (and they weren't looking to land that big a fish to dump that contract) before the season began.
