OK, I give. Even I, a pretty dedicated S60 viewer, thought Harriet was just awfully forced last night.

I didn't think it was badly written or acted...I just wanted to smack her.

I agree. I thought Danny was gonna do just that when she threatened to do her Holly Hunter impression for the 137th time. That's the kind of sour note this show can hit from time to time with the characters.

But on the other hand, there was the black Army colonel who kept Jeter company. His character had more good lines in one episode than some series have in an entire season. That's the kind of stuff that makes me sorry this show is going away. Anyone who appreciates good writing should have at least some affection for this show. That's why I can't understand why some people on here rip it so badly. (With the exception of M_W, who is so concerned with Sorkin's politics that he can't seem to address the show on an artistic level.)

It's all in the eye of the beholder ... I thought Harriet and Danny had much more interesting chemistry, in their shambling way, than either of the other pairings. If you think about it, you haven;t really seen those two characters together much at all during the run of the show, unless there's some episode Im forgetting.

But you had to know from the chapel scene exactly how this one was going to wind up ...

Just finished watching the ep on my computer - forgot to set the VCR (yes, I still use one). Not a bad episode but the writers should put Jordan and the audience out of their misery. I keep waiting for a "real" discussion about faith in this show, but it is so one-sided. Why can't Harriet just say, "Hey, my faith comforts me. F*ck you, you self-loathing, self-rightous miserable piece of sh*t! It's not like you seem happier than me without it! Kiss my ass!"
And I'm waiting for Simon to read the "apology" and toss it aside ala Ryan Leaf.

OK, I just started watching it, and after that intro, ... damn, I'm gonna miss this show.

Dammit, if Jericho can be revived, why not S60? I wish it wasn't so expensive. Shit, loved Deadwood, sorry, too expensive. Loved Rome, nope too much cash. F!

I do think it's interesting that both Matt and Danny have turned to religion (or at least become receptive to it) during all this.
