Nope. They usually sing in harmony.

Didn't "E-Ring" open with a big elaborate musical number one week? Man, that Dennis Hopper was pitch-perfect.

Really? When they referenced the drug use, I split a gut.

Why? You already knew that was going to be the main joke because when D.L. Hughley said it in Matt's office, the lightbulb went off and he and Danny started writing. So the whole time we were building up to the song, I kept thinking, ok, what else is Sorkin going to give us? I felt like they kept repeating their funniest joke over and over.

I don't know. I liked the "$100 hooker" line too.

I was on the "just OK" boat after the first episode. I gave it a second week and I'm hooked. I really enjoyed this episode and am looking forward to watching it each week, now.

unison and harmony are not mutually exclusive.

    Finally watched it tonight.

I liked it, but didn't you know the moment you saw the clock where we were headed?

The one true moment in the whole thing was the moment when the light went on and they got the idea for the cold open.

    More of that, please.

Also, do we really need Jordan doing the old Jed Bartlet can't-remember-names bit? Or is there a minimum adult daily requirement of homage in every Sorkin show?

One last thing: The idea that Missoula would have been one of the markets that would have refused to show Studio 60 because of the "Crazy Christians" sketch was laughable. I wonder if Sorkin just looked at a map of flyover country and threw a dart that landed on Missoula, then assumed it was red-state America. Missoula -- which anyone who has ever covered much 1-AA football or Big Sky Conference basketball can attest -- is about as liberal as San Francisco.

Yes they are. They are, in fact, opposites.
