First, I'm glad it has a cool shorthand like "S60OTSS" that just rolls off the tongue. Any more alphanumerically cryptic and it'd be the 12-digit PIN for wireless access at your local NFL stadium.

Second, the single-greatest four-word stretch of this entire thread is easily "loved Fools Rush In." No, seriously, I'm not going to even touch the follow-up on liking "The Whole Nine Yards."

I took Perry driving off at the end to hint he isn't resolving issues in a healthy way. The two old writers are waiting to talk to him and he doesn't talk to them, he drives off. I don't think he does anything bad or drug-related ... yet.

OK, that was me with the Fools Rush in reference. It was a breezy movie. And I liked the Whole 9 Yards because of the naked hotbox who plays with guns. Come to think of it, that's the only part of the movie I like. But Fools Rush In is a good movie.

I'm with Luggie. I gave it a shot, but I'll no longer make it a point to watch it. It's preachy, the dialogue doesn't ring true to me, I don't buy Amanda Peet in her role, I don't buy that a thorough background check that would have uncovered the marriage and quite possibly the DUI wouldn't have been done, I don't buy Peet's/Weber's omnipresence on the set (does Les Moonves hang out backstage at Letterman?)...I could go on. I'm sad, because I loved West Wing and Sports Night, but this one's not doing it for me. Maybe I'll check out the DVDs through Netflix at the end of the season if it seems like things pick up. For those that like it, enjoy.

Dyno, we have such similar taste! Us Magazine and now this. You don't happen to watch Project Runway, do you?

I said before this came on that I hope it is more like The West Wing and less like Sports Night. I loved both, but I could also understand why Sports Night didn't last very long.

The shaky ratings so far have me wondering if that's the direction Studio 60 is going. I hope not.

Project Runway PM coming your way... I'll spare the boyz on this thread a discussion of Kayne's 'glamazon' vs. Laura's high waists.

    Unless of course they're interested...

Bravo, a lot like A&E, has really gone downhill with all the reality shows they air.

Just watched this online - saw the first episode, missed the second - and really enjoyed it.
I am worried a bit that this show is too highbrow for America.
Hell, it got beat by "The Bachelor."
I wasn't even aware that piece of crap was on anymore!
I think things like TIVO and the fact that it is now streamed online can make a big difference in people who want to pick it up through the week. I know it helped me out tremendously.
Just got my DVR through the satellite company and I'm looking forward to trying out a bunch of new shows.
Watching stuff like this online makes me want to try other stuff out.
I just hope NBC has some patience with this show.
