    Ep. 4

Nothing is going to turn me against this show quicker than a) baldie's writing crew coming up with a News 60 riff that is stupid, but they say it is funny, and then Perry says is funny; and b) stupid Paulson-Perry interaction. It worked for Maloney and Whitford... this crap is insufferable.

They just ran an ad for 30 Rock, making fun (not very well) of its resemblance to the show currently airing.

If that's an example of a show that's actually SUPPOSED to be funny, I fear for them.

Alec Baldwin asking where Sorkin and Peet are.

    Funny.

Utterly lacking in originality, IMHO. The easy, obvious way to go which gives me a sign as to the general mien of the new show.

    I will say.....

Lahti is Venti where she needs to be, and pretty grande overall.

    Really?

When's the last time we've seen a show make light of being confused with another?

Well... the humor certainly isn't of the highbrow offering of 60.

Saw a story in the paper today that says Studio 60 is the top show among the educated and affluent, that means it will stay on the air as long as that number stays high, because it doesn't matter how many watch, it matters who watches. Like the people who can buy expensive things.
If you're curious, the Office is second.

Isn't that funny, since that exact phenomena is mentioned in tonight's show.

One Type A among the demo is worth five shlubs in the demo.

Shlub. Love that word. Makes me think of Henry at the end of Goodfellas.

Nothin wrong with the idea. It's just comedy writers/actors should be able to come up with more clever repartee.

As for 60 - comedy is serious business. :)
