The guy referenced a show like that that has already been on the air: Temptation Island on Fox. Not so far-fetched.

I missed the audio on the Nancy Grace rehearsal -- there was an Amber alert and the local affiliate decide to carry the garbled audio from a dispatcher instead of just running a scroll.

    Is it on NBC.com yet?

I really, really like this show... It's definitely the best of the new shows...

We're so overanalyzing the Parcells joke. The point is/was, that Parcells made the comment and hadn't done shit in several years.

I think the show in general is over analyzed. Whether the snippets of comedy are gut-busting funny (especially when most of the time they show it as still a work in progress) or if a network executive knows exactly how many years it's been since Parcells won a playoff game isn't the point.

My biggest complaint going into this week was that I wasn't interested in the Matt-Harriett relationship, but I like the turn it took last night and dealing with the reporter.

have you ever hung with comedians when the light's not on? they're the most depressing, low-key folks on the planet. the fact it's not a yukfest behind the scenes is the way it is. so's the fact that the director's the only one who ever seems to laugh at the skits. he's not a comic. comics are renoewned for watching other comics and never laughing. they'll just observe and say, "that's funny."

the only comic i've heard of who stays on at all times is robin williams. most other comics are funny for a living -- much like spirtswriters often cover sports but don't want to talk about it 24/7.

    just my take.

Exactly ... most people just spew of "facts" whether exactly right or wrong ... Weber's character was just trying to make a point. Get over it.

On the other hand, I also wish some of these sketch scenes would be funny. One laugh out of me would be an improvement.

This last show just seemed a way to get some character exposition out; wasn't my favorite episode to date.

Who was that young playwright? What have I seen him in before last night?

I like Studio 60... ratings are not fanastic, though. It was third in the 10 p.m. hour last night, trailing CSI: Miami on CBS and What About Brian on ABC. According to zap2it.com, S60 pulled in a 5.3 share... it's lead-in, Heroes, had a 7.8.

I don't think the show is jeopardy of being canceled - yet. But at the very least I think we can expect a schedule change coming up. They'll try to move it to a new night to save it.. hopefully it will work.

I don;t think the show is about the jokes. I found it interesting how they were practicing. The actors were reading lines, undaunted about all of the changes going on as the set changed around them or they moved to another part of the stage.

    Loved Ed Asner's part.

Christina Lahti would NEVER get that much access.

    This sure beats CSI-Miami.

Christine Lahti can get as much access as she wants, as far as I'm concerned.
