S60 wasn't on last night. I missed it.

Same here ... John Goodman's guesting next week, though, looks good.

    Goodman is always money.

  4. I did, too, though Friday Night Lights is pretty good TV.
Heroes and S60 are a nice 1-2 punch.
I hope the latter sticks around, because the former is becoming the sleeper hit of the season.

Not a bad episode. Not very plausible, surely too outlandish for some people's taste but I liked it.

It was a good episode. I know some don't care for Weber's character, but the friction between him and Jordan is becoming an interesting dynamic to the show.

And a great quote: "Hollywood isn't run by liberals, it's run by companies. And you could live a really long time before you find a liberal on the board of directors of one of those companies."

Can say that about the media, too.

Two lines I really liked were:

    1) Et tu Daisy?

    2) The one early on about how they preach and talk down to people, which was obviously a shot at people who have been saying that about the show.

When Goodman delivered that line, I thought the same thing.

The promos did a nice job hiding Goodman was playing a character, and not "John Goodman as the guest host of S60."

Quality episode ... enjoyed the shot they took at CSI: Miami.
Liked how the Chinese guy was OK with going to Nevada since they had legal brothels, or, as the deputy noted, the whorehouses helped found the community

also the line about making a show about televesion executives who were about to be fired... that was a nice touch

i really like this show, a lot. it may be my favorite of all time, but in tonight's episode i did see glimpses of the predictability that were people were talking about... my guess is that tom jeter was speeding through nevada to try and see his brother before he was deployed overseas

i'm ok w/ the predictability though while many have complained. this is a show that's a) trying to entertain and b) depicting our society and trying to explain it, versus providing escapism for escapism's sake

Maybe on TV. Not in the movies. The Babe? Blues Brothers 2000? King Ralph?

Think he was on TV tonight. I'll check.
