Maybe Sundays after the NFL season is over?

That's what I would do... I would certainly hope Studio 60 could hold its own against Without a Trace, which isn't nearly as good as it once was...

Easily the best episode so far, but those numbers are really, really bad.

I really enjoyed this episode and liked the dialog between the West Hollywood police and Jeter. I liked that they said it would only take an hour and the guy just wanted to be able to sue Jeter. I am really curious about why he was driving 120 through the town, though.

In most cases, a show that is this critically acclaimed would get at least two seasons minimum as long as the ratings weren't horrendous.

But this show has got to cost a shitload to make. With that cast, I would bet it's the most expensive show on TV to produce.

Smith had the same issues. I thought it was a very good show and it lasted three episodes. I'm sure it was a similar deal with Kidnapped, which is still on, but will be gone after 13 episodes...

They could have done without the double dose of Jesus -- they could have stayed with the sketch and got rid of the stuff with Harriet. But this episode reminded me of the West Wing (in a good way).

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. It followed the same story arc as the one where Mendoza got arrested for DUI in Connecticut.

I loved the line where Matt asked his ex if her ass hurts from sitting on the middle of the fence so much. Reminds me of so many people I work with.

Agreed on Smith, it had no chance to find its audience. As for Kidnapped, NBC's not even going to finish the 13 episodes...
    All L&O, all the time.

i thought that, too. coupled with a couple of the "comedy of errors" episodes where a chain of stupid mistakes leads to bigger mistakes (the best example being the one where sam says something dumb in front of some woman, has josh apologize, josh screws up, makes donna go fix it, donna drops her underwear in front of said woman...yadda yadda yadda)

oh well. any sorkin fan knows the man only has a handful of plot constructs.
i'm not complaining, though. i loved last night's ep.

how weird is it that...I can watch Studio 60, last night's full episode...but they don't post ER? What's up with that?

There was one point where someone (I think John Goodman) said something that got bleeped out on the West Coast feed . . . did anyone else notice that?
