I thought I might have missed a line or two related to Ricky and Ron, so good to know I haven't. I do like the way the characters are being developed in stages ... keeps us from overload. I wouldn't mind seeing Harriet and her Christian right views take a backseat for a few episodes, but I imagine that won't happen next week.

Instead of the fat guy, who was doing the news before the saviors came and put Harriet and Simon (Sammy) in the news chairs? Maybe they would have been a good choice.

Also, why weren't there two planes? The Chinese guy was going east and they had to go west regardless of the timing.

In part 1, Jack said that Ricky and Ron told him about the Jesus sketch.

Something tells me Ricky and Ron leave just like Matt and Danny did a few years back -- which may set up for some cool flashbacks.

Ricky and Ron is Sorkin's homage to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern

Last night we're watching it and my wife asked, "Did Bradley Whitford's character take his job more seriously when he was working for the president or when he was a TV producer?"

    It's still a good show...

"I'm in a position to show them that Christianity has a nicer voice than Ann Coulter."

"Carrol Channing has a nicer voice than Ann Coulter."

Best line of the night and the only time I laughed, I think.

In the last few weeks I actually thought the show was improving. then over the weekend I watched some West Wing reruns. After that, the whole discussion about gay marriage on Studio 60 seemed hollow. If people are arguing about those issues in the White House, you take it seriously. It just can't be taken seriously when its back stage of an unfunny fake T.V show. If Matt Perry was called in to save the show, why are all the sketches as lame as the most recent season's of SNL? I think the only moment I laughed was when Tom Jeter blessed the ground after getting out of the limo.

don't worry about the fat guy, he'll be appearing in every other commercial next summer.

I think that's one reason I like it. I don't go in expecting The West Wing. I just take it for what it is. There is no comparison. Studio 60 isn't even close, but it's still keeping me entertained.
