I thought last night really set up the rest of the season quite nicely.

No, seriously. I'm not just trotting out an SJ cliche. I'm very interested in seeing Matthew Perry's character working with the British chick and the new guy. It could be very interesting.

BTW, did you catch the time frame references? At one point, somebody mentioned it'd been five days since they'd hired Darius. Wasn't that three episodes ago?

The last three shows have only covered one "episode" of Studio 60, the comedy sketch show. Darius was hired, (what, four weeks ago?) during the wrap party after one show. The two-parter in Nevada took place on the day of the next show, and last night's episode took place after that same show.

Ok - something that hit me later last night, the whole thing about product placement is the show within the show, only they showed exactly how they're going to do it. So in other words, they advertised it and set up their own future product placement in a way that you'll now be looking for them.

I imagine their phones are probably ringing off the hooks today from ad agencies saying "We want to be in the background in the make-believe show on the real show."

    Damn that's smart.

Did you notice how many shots of the writers room included the Apple logo on the laptops?

The woman who is having P.R. problems because, among other things, she allegedly doesn't like children or want to have children ... sure looks like she's in the family way. If it's that obvious to someone as clueless as I am, wouldn't someone on the show comment about it?

Google update: Amanda Peet is, in fact, pregnant. Well, hell, where have I been?

    Sincerely,

    Clueless

They really are doing a poor job of covering it up, though.

I apologize to everyone for that. Peet just jumped me that night in Pahrump. What was I to do? [/wishfulthinking]
... and count me in the loving Sarah Paulson demographic. I really like her, am amazed I haven't heard of her before.
DLH's line last night about half his joint still being in Nevada was a keeper.

She was in a few episodes of Deadwood, as a murdering whore I beleive. Obviously type casted in S60

Hey now. Miss Isringhausen was not a whore -- she was just about the only female character on the show that was not a) a whore; or b) a prude. And yes, she was a manipulative, seductive vixen. Much sexier as a brunette. Rock on.

She might not have been a straight-up whore, but she was definately whore-ish.

Let DLH write the skits, Aaron.

I've thought she was fantastic since the last time she was paired up with Peet ... "Jack and Jill," which wasn't a bad show itself. Also the breakout show for Jamie Pressley (outside of, of course, Playboy).
