Ah, so you're familiar with the Sorkin Hokie Pokie?

Then, do four more lines and write a line like:

If you were hurt, I wouldn't stop for red lights.

Go directly to rehab, have John Wells take over your show.

Stuck on a roof? C'mon, really? What, couldn't have them accidentally handcuffed to each other? I love this show, but this is a hellishly long week. Here's hoping next week gets us to Friday.

I like the show. I really do. And the bit where they made fun of their own lead-in, with the guy who plays Hiro and Harriet saying, "save me, save the world" and doing a pop-quiz on the powers was really, really funny.
I don't think they stay on the roof for very long next week. I know it says in three parts, but the third part, according to the Tivo, is Matt looking back at his relationship with Harriet. AKA a flashbacks episode/

I have stuck with this show from the start, but last night's episode might have been the worst writing effort from Sorkin in any of his three shows. Stuck on a roof? Oh, and no cell service. And we can't tell Judy the truth about Tom's forced date. I didn't even need my glasses to see the missing snake bit coming, either.

  6. God, no.
Somebody stop him before he puts the next two parts on the air.
And the snake bit was the best thing on the episode.
Sarah Paulson is not going to be a star, and not just because her character is the most insufferable thing in two shoes.

My wife and I have tried really hard to keep up with this show, but we're starting to get bored. It really lacks energy right now. Instead of a fast-paced, fun, behind-the-scenes show, it's all about a bunch of sad, depressed people who can't get laid and hate their jobs. They care too much about the inner workings of the TV network (boring), religious politics (preachy) and, for being a bunch of comic geniuses, not very funny.

Last night's episode was so predictable. You knew the roof door was going to be locked. You knew Lucy was going to show up at the dinner (seriously, why lie?). You knew Luke5858 wasn't going to be who Matt thought it was.

The cell phone thing was a little far fetched to me.

No doubt last night was incredibly predictable. The part with Tom getting caught lying was stupid, but actually made some sense. He has been shown as easily influenced and he was dumb enough to listen to Matt.

And having Danny make a crack about romantic comedies does not save the locked-on-the-roof thing. The entire Danny-loves-Jordan storyline has been badly done.

I was really torn between watching Studio 60 or the America's Game featuring the 1975 Steelers. I made the wrong choice (though I did tape the thing on the Steelers).

Next week Danny & Jordan accidently get married, the following week they get part time jobs on the chocolate candy assembly line while Harriet has to do a commerical for vitameatvegimin

I fell asleep trying to watch this last night.

That can't be a good sign.

At least next week finally get the inevitalbe Jordan-Matt moment. You know the one that's been coming... after months of phone stalking and letters of recommendation and days after she told him to leave her alone repeatedly, obviously she will finally see that she's in love with him and we will all be overcome with joy.

I thought it was funny how they answered all the snarky things I was about to say questioning how they could get caught on a 3 story rooftop. Even though it was stupid, it was funny seeing them go through the no service, we're facing the alley not the street explanations because those were obvious things to pick apart about not being able to get out of there. Having read the guide and knowing they were going to end up on the roof made them getting up there even worse.

The snake thing was just a waste of time. And by the looks of the previews there will be even more of it next week with the coyote. This show just can't decide if it's a goofy comedy or a dead-serious drama so it just splits the stories and it turns out half and half.
