An Irishman rooting for the snake?

    The end is surely nigh.

I'll still watch it, but I won't be particularly sad when the end comes. There's still enough funny moments to keep me coming back for more.

It's worth wading through for moments like the New Orleans musical number.

And having been hopelessly in love with a pregnant woman once upon a time, I have great sympathy for Danny's situation.

But I'm afraid this will never be as good as the first few episodes suggested it could be.

There are moments this show has great potential (Simon and Darius conflicting over the role of being "the black writer") and then moments of unwatchable BS (sending a coyote to get a ferret which was sent to get a snake).

I hope it's back for a second season, but I realize it probably won't.

Yep, it's a goner. I've come to accept it. And I'll be first in line to buy the DVDs. (I'll also be haranguing Amazon about when those damned "Ed" DVDs will be coming.)

I'm still waiting for The State on DVD.

And yeah, last night didn't flow too well until the very end. I usually go into these arguments blindly defending Studio 60 and swinging wildly, but even I thought the script felt a little choppy.

Then again, Sorkin does well with flashback episodes. Think about the West Wing flashback eps. Next week might not be as bad as you think.

Go to iTunes and download them for $1.99 per episode.

  8. I'll buy Danny-and-Jordan in a heartbeat, plus I actually kind of like Whitford dinged up a little and not the super-wonk Josh Lyman. But Harry and Matt have to be bitten by the viper very soon.

Three weeks ago, I said that I was giving it two more episodes. Well, three crappy shows later, I'm out. The show is a mess with only Jack being semi-interesting.

The Jack character is the best on the show right now. His pithy one-liners are very funny.

As for the Matt-Harry storyline, it became s*** or get off the pot time long ago. Some of their scenes this week were painful to watch.

As for 30 Rock, I gave up on that show long ago although I do like the character who wears all of the hats with the weird sayings.

Last week's '30 Rock' with Paul Ruebens was ridiculous and hilarious -- like classic Zucker/Abrahams/Zucker.

I'd rather watch them on my television than my computer or iPod. I'm hoping the iTunes venture is the first step towards getting the show on DVD.
