Between Belichick and the city's higher-than-average douchebag concetration among its sports fans, it was like a 50-gallon drum of diesel fuel in a dried up hayfield.

Winning was nothing but a lit match.

And just think ... I was rooting for the Patriots that year. Beat the Raiders, beat the Rams, never had won it before ... now I hate them as much as anyone.

The rumor going around the interwebs is that Tom threw the game to avoid hanging with Simmons at the after-party... And he stands by his choice as the correct one.

I was rooting for them... until the tuck fraud perpetrated by Walt Coleman.

From there on, the whole postseason was tainted for me.

I heard that too - Brady faced with the prospects of avoiding the late Strahan sack or partying with Bill Simmons took the sack.

Another embarrising Super Bowl performance from Wild Bill.

Since my thread was quashed, I'll let you know here that the Dolphins just traded Ricky Williams to the Giants for a cup of Archie Manning's sperm.

I am surprised that Simmons was not touting his "Ewing theory" in relation to Tiki

Not quite sure what that means Boom, considering the Knicks didn't win a championship with or without Ewing.

More like Don Matingley. They finally won another one after he retired.

BTW, Tiki should just join Matt Lauer now on that morning show, shouldn't be talking about football anymore.
