It's un-possible for a team to win three pro championships (and come close to fourth) without becoming hated. I don't think they really became disliked until this year - that's a pretty long time considering that they hail from Boston, a city comprised almost entirely of drunks, louts and assholes... and that's just the women.

The '90s Bulls were never really hated, except by Knicks and Pistons fans.

I think that that is true.

Where was the overriding asshole there? Krause was more of a local whipping boy than anything.

I never perceived a Belichick... or Jerry Jones ... or Yankee/Red Sox vocal, entitled-type fan base that was easy to despise.

    No one, really, until Rodman.

  5. But they didn't and they weren't. So what?
The revisionist gloating is heading into delusionary territory.

Or until Pippen quit in game 3 of the '94 series against the Knicks.

Maybe, but the exercise is up my alley.

It's no sweat off my ass. I just can't believe I had a Tony Eason jersey as a kid.

A thought occurs while observing Eli Manning's goofy, awed grin at the Jint's parade. Since Tom Brady is a Manhattanite, did me hobble his way out the door to pay homage to the Super Bowl XLII champions?
