Are there enough dogs to kick in New England for the bostonbreds of the world?

  2. Tremendous game, even though I was off by a few as to the final score.
The bandwagon-jumpers in re: Coughlin and Eli are going to be pretty insufferable for a while, though.

And it's not exactly as if he jogged downfield on the last two offensive plays, either.

The fourth quarter won Eli that MVP. He shouldn't have been it. I think it should have gone to Tuck.

Is this Belichick thing that big a deal?

The refs started the clock after it had stopped at 2. Belichick and Coughlin were on the field and embraced. From a coaching standpoint, game over.

If the refs don't restart the clock -- one of many weird clock issues tonight -- it's not an issue.

And by the way, my avatar aside, I'm not a Belichick guy. I never wanted them to fire Pete Carroll, which shows what I know.

  8. The pats' decision to throw everything they had against the Giants in Game 16 is looking awfully questionable now ... think if they had gone vanilla with the play calling: the giants wouldn't have the confidence they had going into this game, if not the playoffs.

No, it's not that big a deal. People are posting with their emotions. :)

I wonder if someone uses a noose to describe the Pats' offense today.

  12. The fourth quarter is the quarter to do it ..
